Maintaining a successful blog does not take more than 2 hours a day at the most. In fact most really successful blogs only have a blog post written on them every other day or sometimes only once or twice a week. That is why most bloggers will tell their readers to grab the blog's feed so when a new post is written they can be up-dated right away. I find that a blog post can be written in less than 15 minutes. What takes up that other hour and 45 minutes is promoting the blog. Marketing your blog is the hardest part of running a blog, not writing it or putting up flashy graphics and photos.
