In fact most really successful blogs only have a blog post written on them every other day or sometimes only once or twice a week. That is why most bloggers will tell their readers to grab the blog's feed so when a new post is written they can be up-dated right away. I find that a blog post can be written in less than 15 minutes. What takes up that other hour and 45 minutes is promoting the blog.
