Hi Chris,

The research is consistant on what all online consumers look for when searching for real estate, for sale or rental. The difference is that renters move faster than buyers do and I believe that the ability for them to get instant updates on availablility of rental properties in their selected location saves them considerable time. I don't believe you need to go into the same detail with a rental property as you would with a for sale property, nor do you need to include as many photos as you do with a for sale property. Just make sure that you still employ localilty information from walkscore.com etc. The easier you make it for a consumer to get information the better the respect they will have for you as an agent or property manager.

I hope that helps, and thanks for your hospitality on Monday.

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for meeting with us yesterday. Some really good information which we can use. Is this information still relevant to the property management side of the business, as to what the consumer is looking for, or do tenants look for different things?
